Hey bloggers. I decided to write about nursing, specifically labor
and delivery. Nursing is a field I've always been interested in because I
aspire to be a registered nurse one day. Every since the birth of my little
sister I became interested in labor and delivery nursing and maternal-child
nursing. It is easy to get the two confused since they both deal with pregnancy
and child birth. It's also a few other nursing fields that are closely related
to labor and delivery nursing that I am interested in. Nursing is a very
flexible field and once you become a registered nurse it can take you a long
way in your career. It also comes with a lot of opportunities. I recently
applied to nursing school which influenced my decision to write about nursing.
It has been my main focus for the past couple of weeks. I am really looking forward
to becoming a nurse.
My research process was pretty moderate. Nursing is a very broad topic so it wasn't hard to find a lot of information. But, since labor and delivery nursing was my main focus it was difficult gathering information about that topic only. A lot of nursing fields are very similar so I had to combine the ones that was close to my main topic and interest me the most for my research. I did learn a lot about nursing and I even learned new things that I never really considered. I do feel like I had good sources because a lot of my information seemed pretty reliable. I do feel that since I want to be a nurse I will end up researching more about this topic. I enjoyed researching this topic because I become anxious thinking about what my future will be like. Nursing was heavy on my mind and I started out by searching for general facts about nursing but found a handful of information.
